According to the State Department , since becoming the US Secretary of State in 2009, Clinton has traveled to 102 countries. Clinton has bet the record of former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright who travelled to a total of 98 countries, New York Daily News reports. Since taking the reins of the State Department in 2009, Clinton's 102-country travel includes travelling for 351 days on the roads and flown over 843,839 miles. A map on the State Department website shows that Clinton has travelled to countries as far north as Nuuk, Greenland, and as far south as Rio de Janeiro, Brazil .
