Hillary Clinton in Mass. for women's conference

WELLESLEY, Mass.U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is returning to her alma mater in Massachusetts to help launch a women's leadership conference.

Clinton and former Secretary of State Madeline Albright are scheduled to open the Women in Public Service Institute on Monday at Wellesley College.

The two-week global leadership conference will be attended by about 50 women from around the world representing 21 countries. The aim is to expand their capabilities as effective leaders.

Attendees include women from Middle Eastern and North African countries who were involved in the Arab Spring, as well as a 27-year-old woman who is the youngest member of Afghanistan's parliament, and a key leader in Myanmar's democracy movement.

Opening ceremonies Monday include many of the women dressed in their natives dress.
