Taking Issue With One Word in Hillary Clinton's Work-Life Balance Quote

I think that would be so much better as "some people are not comfortable working at the pace and intensity you have to work at in these jobs." I'm sure that's true of a lot of men as well.

Our commenter isn't the only person wanting clarification on Clinton's quote. Ayelet Waldman's Marie Clairestory framed Clinton'sthoughts in response to Anne-Marie Slaughter's widely discussedAtlantic cover story, but Slaughter insists the quotes about "whining" were not spoken in reference to her:
