If Hillary Clinton Ran For President, She Would Probably Be The Best-prepared Candidate In American History

Clinton gives many variations on the theme of dont-think-so. (Oh, Ive ruled it out, but you know me. Everybody keeps asking me. So I keep ruling it out and being asked.) Also a thousand different forms of beats-me. (I have no idea what Im going to do next.) What she does not do is offer the kind of Shermanesque if-nominated-I-will-not-run language that would end the conversation.

If Hillary Clinton ran for president again, she would probably be the best-prepared candidate in American history: one whos lived in the White House, served in the United States Senate, a woman who knows virtually every head of state in the world and also has a strong opinion about the merits of the Peruvian minister of development and social inclusion.

Editor: I may not be the biggest Hillary fan, but the article is absolutely correct. She lived in the White house. She was exposed to absolutely everything involved in the position for 8 years. Officially or not, she was involved in decisions that shaped America.

As you may remember. President Bill Clinton was responsible for bringing down the national debt more than any other president in recent history. America prospered as "the best country in the world", as many like to refer to America. That title has unfortunately dropped away as America fell out of the top position through the Bush years.

Since then, as Secretary of State, she has had official duties and access for the last 4 years.

A President, with 12 years of basically unrestricted access to the White house and has been involved in decisions for the entire time. We've never had a Presidential candidate so qualified.

With Hillary Clinton in office, the inverse access would be true. A previous president, Bill Clinton, would now be a ! trusted adviser, living in the White house. It could make the next Presidential term the most influential and prosperous era in American history.
