New Yorkers favor Hillary Clinton over Cuomo for president according to new poll

The poll was conducted between Nov. 26-29, 2012, by telephone calls to 822 New York State registered voters with a margin of error of 3.4 percent.
55 percent of voters think that New York State is headed in the right direction. The New York State Assembly and Senate had their lowest ever unfavorable ratings at 40 and 41 percent respectively.
When it comes to issue of hydrofracking in parts of upstate New York, 42 percent support it compared to 36 percent oppose. 73 percent of voters know some, not very much, or nothing at all about hydrofracking. Downstate suburban voters support hydrofracking by 50 percent compared to 32 percent oppose. Upstate voters oppose it by 45 percent comparred to 39 percent in! support.
Some voters are optimistic about the national economy in 2013. 75 percent said they think it will be about the same or better.
27 percent said they think their own personal finances will get better in 2013. 53 percent said they think it will remain about the same.
77 percent of voters described the fiscal condition of New York State as either poor or fair. 2 percent said it was excellent.
