Former Ohio Democratic Party staffer working for new Hillary PAC

A former Ohio Democratic Party staffer is promoting former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the presidency in 2016.

Seth Bringman, who served as the ODPs top spokesman from 2009 through 2012 and worked for Clintons first presidential candidacy in 2008, confirmed last week that he has been hired as a spokesman for a Clinton-promoting super PAC, Ready for Hillary.

He said hell spend the next two years making the case for why the former Secretary of State, U.S. Senator and First Lady would be the best president for the country.

The group will be expressing their support in a meaningful way and laying the groundwork for Clintons support should she decide to run.

Im honored to be part of this important effort to make Hillary Clinton the next president should she decide to jump in, he said.

Clinton has not said whether she plans to run, but already shes talked about as a top contender for the Democratic nomination. Vice President Joe Biden also has been discussed as a possible Democratic contender. On the Republican side, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida are considered possible candidates, though Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, and Ohio Gov. John Kasich may also be possibilities.

Ready for Hillary registered with the Federal Election Committee last month.
